Hello and welcome to our NEW website for Deer Rest Cabin...our cabin rental in Ruidoso, NM. For many years now we've been coming to
these cool beautiful mountains and finally just decided that we should no longer keep it a secret! Our rental cabin in Ruidoso is
usually open year-round for you to relax, refresh and have unlimited fun! Our cabin is completely furnished, fully stocked and sleeps
4 people very comfortably. Although our cabin is a little older, we've always kept it in excellent condition and it's very clean.
New carpet, refrigerator, dishwasher and TV's top the list of recent upgrades. You'll be close to everything in Ruidoso and yet far
enough away to enjoy a hot cup of coffee on the deck with the hummingbirds, fresh air, cool mountain breeze and best of all....no
interruptions. There are more than 400 mature Ponderosa pine trees covering our property that provide shade in the afternoon as well
as shelter for many of our mountain “friends”. Most days, you'll find deer in the yard and always a relaxing chair on the deck! Please
remember that while the deer are fun to watch, we don't feed the deer to help protect their natural foraging abilities. We don't want
them to rely on humans for food, especially when none are around! We're glad you've found us and invite you to explore our site before

Our cabin is also NON-SMOKING. ***Please keep in mind: sometimes there are fire restrictions that might include a ban on ALL outdoor cigarette smoking, cooking, grilling and open flames and strict fines are imposed and enforced.
